My E46 became a little bit challenging and after discovering via Carfax it had 3 accidents, I decided to cut my losses. I got the car for free, so I never bothered to check. It's a bummer. Somebody will get a mechanically sound 323i.
It is a 2009 135i with a 6-speed auto. I have a disability, so a manual tranny is not an option. The car has the Sport Package, Premium Package, and the Winter Package. It also has an M-steering wheel. And it has upgraded leather.
I do think the 2-Series is prettier, but at $22k for a CPO, it's hard to beat this car. And it is very fast and handles well. I'll do more thorough write-ups on it as time goes by. Thanks to Winslow BMW for taking such great care of me. A big shout out to Scott and Scott and Jim!

Nice 135, BTW! I hope it's as fun as I imagine it is!

very nice 1er. You also have the M-Sport package (Shadowline trim, black headliner, M sport steering wheel" and M-Sport Suspension. Looks like you also have a set of BMW Performance Black Kidneys. Nice car, the DCT is nice in these cars, its the 128's conventional auto tranny that blows.

Yep, but the headliner is grey. I need to figure out how to polish the black chrome exhaust. My X5 has a very similar package.

The bubbles? I'm going to have warranty work done on it.

Very nice! Congrats! Any planned mods? Even just a jb4 will turn the N54 engine into a whole new animal.. Also, look up the golf tee exhaust mod. It's a free and easy way to make your exhaust sound better.

Not planning much. What's a JB4? I probably will wait for the warranty to expire in 2 years.

does winter package mean LSD? (:

Are you sure the 135 came with a DCT? I thought only the 335is and M3 had one.

How much warranty coverage is left on a 2009? How many miles?

If you ever feel like spending money you can always swap in some M3 suspension components too, I believe it'll still keep the warranty too but I'd ask your SA first.
Jb4 is basically a piggyback flash for your ECU that has different maps (modes). I have a NA 328i so I haven't spent too much tuning researching N54 mods but this is usually the first. Here's a good read: Description of JB4 Maps http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthr…
Are you gonna be on any forums?

my bad, google says DCT was 2011+. Since OP's is a 2009, its not a DCT

FWIW I have a 2009 328i and I don't think the (GM derived??) 6 speed is bad at all actually. It shifts surprisingly aggressively and smoothly when you leave it in D but prod the gas with abandon. Definitely manual-override downshifts leave a bit to be desired, and I always thought it was weird that BMW transmissions insist upon shifting into 1st or 2nd right as you are coasting to a complete stop, causing a little judder.

There was 1 year left. I bought an additional year. It's BMW and not a 3d party (which I wouldon't have purchased that. 43k miles

Gorgeous wheels! Powertrain only or bumper to bumper?

"Cobb Tune" w/ obdII controller switch modes easily...adds ~100hp & 100 lb/fts.
Will blow doors off E92 M3.
